Philly Roots & Early Ambition
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Luis majored in Exercise Science at Bloomsburg University. Even in his early career as a physical therapy aide, his work reflected a passion for serving others and helping people live stronger, healthier lives.
Vision Statement
We are not chasing size. We are chasing excellence. Our vision is to be the name people trust when it comes to protecting and improving their homes. We want to be the company homeowners talk about when they say, “They actually cared.”
We’re building something that lasts, starting with our reputation.
Mission Statement
At Soft Touch Roofing & Exterior, we protect homes, treat people right, and take pride in everything we touch. Whether it’s roofing, siding, gutters, or ongoing care through our membership program, we show up with intention and finish with pride.
Our mission is simple. Do good work. Earn trust. Leave every home better than we found it.
Navy Pilot & Leader
After completing flight training in Pensacola, FL, Luis launched into a distinguished career as a U.S. Navy helicopter pilot and instructor. Over 11 years, he rose to the rank of Lieutenant Commander, leading flight crews, managing complex operations, and earning a reputation for calm precision and integrity under pressure.
Family First
Married at 25 and soon a father, Luis quickly learned the importance of building a secure foundation for his growing family. That sense of responsibility fueled his decision to take on a bold new challenge: naval aviation.
A New Mission at Home
While honored to serve his country, Luis knew deployments meant long months away from the family he cherished. Determined to bring his leadership home, he transitioned from Navy aviation to community-centered entrepreneurship.
Today, as founder of Soft-Touch Roofing & Exterior, Luis applies the same discipline and attention to detail that once kept aircraft mission-ready. Every roof, siding, and gutter project is approached with military-grade precision and a commitment to protecting local families. What began as a call sign in the cockpit is now a promise in the Poconos: your home will be cared for with integrity, craftsmanship, and respect.
